Artie is a Painted Bay Oldenburg, a son of the famous dressage horse Art Deco.  His training and show experience is in the disciplines of dressage, jumping and cross country.  He excelled at 3-day eventing, in the US and in Canada, and earned recognition as a 2-star level competitor by 2014.  He was purchased by the Hall Family, and continued eventing competitions with Lily Hall as she entered the Young Rider Program through 2016.  He became primarily retired by 2017, when Lily left for college, and began his second career as an equine therapist at GRACE in 2018.  He is looking forward to beginning his service for veterans in Fall of 2018.
